WOW. Good for him and well done. This is a kind of attitude you really need to encourage within him. Should you still give him pocket money? YES!!! Its very important. If you withdraw it it would almost be like a punishment for doing so well. If he was 21 and had a job and did this on weekends he would not expect his employer to stop his wages.

Give him the money. Be proud of him and encourage him. Be proud of yourself for his achievement. Also, let him spend it on whatever he wants. That will encourge him even more.

Is the pocket money an allowance that you have agree on for work that he does around the house, or for good grades, etc.? If so, then YES you still give him the allowance.

If he's saving the work money for a specific purpose, like school later and it's in an account, then yes give him spending money.

If there are other children who receive money without working for it, then YES you should give it to him. Why should he be penalized for working.

Otherwise, no, you don't need to give him spending money, but I think the kid still deserves a reward for being hard working.

depends on what he is doing with the £1000.00 you cant punish him for being innovative.

Can you also afford to keep given him pocket money and is he saving any of it and if so what for.

Maybe he will buy new disco equipment to help him make more money, thats business. You should be proud he is doing well not hanging about causing bother and complaining about life.

Fair play to the boy. If you can afford it tell him you are not giving him the money direct anymore you are just going to put it in a savings account and do exactly that. Just in case he may need it later.

You should definately still give him pocket money. But half it- and put the other half in a savings account for him. And you dont say how regular he earns the money. He might still need the pocket money.

Was he earning his pocket money by doing chores in the house or were they just hand outs? If was doing chores and still is then you should continue to give him money but if he wasn't then no.
