If you are on a ship and the ship sinks and all the passengers fall into the sea, the obese person will float better than a thin person.
Also, the obese can sometime get an upgrade to first class from economy on flights because their butt is too big for the economy seats.
I cant think of any more.

Sandra there aren't very many advantages to obesity. The only ones I can think of are this. Additional fat cells will protect your organs from cold better. And, It will take longer for starvation to detrimentally affect your health. Speaking of health did you know that obesity is the number 2 killer in the U.S. behind heart disease. Overweight also accounts for 70% of all visits to a doctor in the U.S.

There are no advantages to obesity. In fact just opposite applies. It is bad for the heart, the colon, in fact all vital organs.

You can block doorways.... sumo-wrestle.... sit on small children and puppies without noticing.... take fence-posts in the gut and survive (I remember a news report about some guy in a car accident who was saved by being obese this way).... last longer in super-cold environments....
.... Can't think of any others off the top of my head.... but those are fairly decent advantages.

Wow, you should get off your lazy butt and go workout. There are no advantages to obesity. Your risk for heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and numerous other diseases is increased. You will lack energy, you will have low self confidence, etc. Do yourself a favor and take care of yourself starting now. If you care anything about the future of your life and your loved ones, you will make the effort. Good luck!

~~~I can't think of one thing. Obesity is bad for your health, bad for your mental stability. Just overall not healthy.
