The Law as recorded in the Old Testament is a lot more than the ten commandment. It touches almost every aspect of a person's daily life.. What you can eat, who you can marry. How much of your harvest you must leave in the field for the poor, and tons more rules... Jim

What is this for???
Law codes are for the different areas of the law. From Genesis to Deuteronomy there are many law codes. . some deal with GOD, others with society, others for family law , murder etc.

By the way, the "ten commandments" are found in Exodus 34 if you want what GOD calls the ten commandments and they are not what you think they are.

The mass majority of people think the "thous shalt nots' in Exodus 20 are the ten commandments. This is the beginning relational requirements of a personal relationship with GOD. Which was broken before Moses ever returned from off the mountain with the stone tablets by the way.

In Leviticus he gave the people a set of laws and Deuteronomy is what some call the second Leviticus. It explains more the laws in Leviticus. you have to remember that these were primitive people and these laws were very futuristic for these people.
They knew nothing about hygiene or bacteria falling in the water.
If a rat fell in the grain, I am sure they just removed the rat.
These laws said, "Throw all the grain away" So a superior power told them that , there is no way people in those days understood germs. It is another example along with many others to prove to us the bible is the word of God.
Burying human waste, what animals would be clean and OK to eat. Only now are we learning about clogged arteries and poison in the blood. It said don't eat the fat or the blood. Who knew it could lead to a heart attack?

Although the ten commandments were the central laws of the Jews, they had around 600 other laws to live by. For instance, they had a law forbidding incest. That law was not a part of the original ten commandments.

I work under law codes.

Basically, it's the arrangement or collection of laws.

Your question wants you to list the 600 plus ordinances of the Mosaic Law apparently.

You 'had' or you 'have' - which?
Either way, it is time that you accepted the fact that the bible is a collection of untruths, exaggerations, poor translations, false promises, fairy tales - with an element of historical fact folded in there somewhere. A huge confidence trick which still has you trapped.
Try: www.noreligion.ca for an alternative point of view. Just one of many that you ought to read and not simply follow blindly the rest of the sheep, not simply believe what you are taught without question. That would be indicative of a childish attitude towards reality ...

There are over 600 laws in the entire code.

Have fun detailing one by one.

There's a bunch of silly laws in that section of the bible. One of my personal favorites is the one that says not to wear clothes woven from two different types of material. This is the same book that says homosexuality is an abomination. Christians preach this, yet proudly wear cotton/polyester blends. Hypocrites.
