Wine bottles are indeed recyclable, I make my own wine so I have everyone I know that indulges save their bottles for me, because I usually need about 100 of them a year. But glass in general is not harmful to the environment, as when it's smashed down it pretty much returns to the sand that it's made from.

Yes, wine bottles are recyclable. Clear, brown, green, and blue glass are acceptable.

Of course! Just bring 'em to the glass section of your local recycling centre, and separat them by color.

Some people like to do arts and crafts with the too. You can always put them on Craigslist if you have a variety.

Of coarse they are....they're glass. They are not returnable however
