Are catholics given absolution for all sins?

What about murder or abortion? and what about if you are married but not through the church? Will your sins not be forgiven until you marry through the church?

Listen.... The key to forgivenss is being born again through acceptance of Jesus, and you inviting Him into your heart and life. When you repent, you are not just saying you are sorry for the sin you commit. but you are also suppose to look inside yourself to see what about you that made you commit that sin, and change that part of you. Recognize what is wrong from within, and then honestly doing something to change for the better will get you sins forgiven.

Jesus told mary Mageline to Go and sin no more" once He forgave her for being a prostitute. She never did live that life of sin again. She was an excellent example of what it truly is to repent and go and sin no more.

If you continue to repeat that same sin over and over again, the only thing you are sorry for is getting caught. Jesus was sincere when he took your sins with Him to the cross, the least you can do for Him is be sincere when you ask Him for His forgivenss. God will not look upon sin or the sinner. Sin is what separates man from God.

True repentance fills that gap that is caused by the sin of man.True repentance is the only way to get close to God.

Only sins against the Spirit will be unforgiven, which specifically means not accepting faith in Jesus Christ which comes from the Spirit.

Some say suicide constitutes this, because the Holy Spirit is the Lord and Giver of Life and taking one's own life is like rejecting life which is like rejecting the Spirit.

Mark 3:29
But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin.

As long as you believe in Jesus as your Redeemer, get baptized, and don't take your own life you will definitely be saved.

Mark 16:16
16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Yes, eventually all sins are forgiven if you sincerely repent.
But that does not mean you are to be off the hook scot free.
If you commit grave sins you will pay for it by aeons and aeons of suffering. Just look at all the suffering going on in the world. Do you think it is for no reason?

NO SIN IS FORGIVEN.Every Paapam(Sin) has a value tag(minus sign) attached to it, as every Punyam (benovolent and samaaritan action).(Plus sign))"Tegedhu Paapamu-Theerathu Punyamu"(Sri.Annamacharya's Version) At the end of life Paapa Saamyam(Balance of both) would decide whether an individual would go to Hell or Heaven

Any repented sin is forgiven. If you are truly sorry and you don't do it again, you are forgiven. You really have to mean it though.
GOD bless

I've been taught there is no unforgiveable sin OR that the only unforgiveable sin is refusing to be loved by God.

no and yes. if u swear to GOD and don't do it, ur not forgiven. rejecting GOD is also another one. but if u do come back to HIM, then you probably will be forgiven. but i think that GOD is very forgiving and HE will forget ur sins.
