Suffering and bliss are just different levels of serotonin. If there were proof that the Bible was from God, I still wouldn't see the big difference between Heaven and Hell. It's all just chemicals, and what's eternity w/o my memories?

Causality is just how I make sense out of life. You have religion; I have natural selection.

It's because you have no experience of ecstatic symptoms. If you look at all the pure saints they where experiencing bliss and they didn't care what others thought of them. Unless one has the experience they can not know what the other is actually talking about. The material world has different realities on this earth and the heavenly planets and lower regions. But that doesn't mean there is not something higher than that. We should not judge things from our sense perception they will always cheat you. The sun appears to be covered by clouds but it is never covered it is blocked from your vision. The only way to get these veils of illusion off our consciousness is to Directly associate with God and one can do that by chanting His names no matter what religion. The Maya mantra is the most recommended combination of name to chant.

If you accept religion then Life is not pointless. It is full of meaning. Oh and what Bible did you read that you wouldn't remember anything when you get to Heaven. You will have a life time of memories and another to make memories. I wouldn't want to make any memories in Hell. When you are cut do you not bleed? Will it not hurt if you loose a limb? Serotonin is not anything without God giving it a purpous in your body. And on the subject of Heaven and Hell and the differences of them...Hummm.....Heaven is full of love and you are in the presence of God... Hell on the other hand is full of pain and Hate... Remember the seritonin thing... I pray that you don't but if you don't make it to Heaven you will feel pain and you won't think that it is so pointless then. God Bless and I pray that you make good decisions in your life

Perhaps you have learned some science, which leads you to the marvelous conclusion that all is just chemicals.
You have not sought the truth in religion, then based on what scientific knowledge, do you make conclusion that religion cannot naturally affects the chemicals to make man thinking and acting in selfless love and consequently enjoy heavenly bliss?

Then you will never know the peace that GOD can give. If you truly searched for him, making sense out of life would be a whole different ballgame.Who do you think created that serotonin?

If you accept religion you won't find life pointless, it is only then when you find the meaning of life. Natural selection evidently isn't giving you what you really need.

who're this "we" you're concerning? you have made a gross generalisation. i for my area have huge-unfold that my existence makes no sense, so i do no longer prefer to be placed into your "we" classification. different peoples lives DO have meaning and greater value, i think of its an extremely very own concern. based on your guy or woman existence reports, psychological state, condition and out seem on existence. in case you have had adverse reports, suffered from melancholy or "issues", had somewhat some "undesirable" success and are not an optimist, you have a tendency to end your guy or woman existence ability no longer something. yet you won't be able to make that a international generalisation.

Why accept religion?
You just need to accept God.
And if your God is 'natural selection' so be it.
