when are they coming out with the male birth control pill?

i heard about years ago and havent heard anything else about it?

i am married so yes i would trust him i have heart problems so it makes it hard on me to take birth control and some women have problems with it so it would be a great thing for couples

It's very difficult to develop a birth control pill for men. While women are born with all of the eggs they will ever have men continually produce sperm. This means that in order to have a "birth control pill" for men, that would mean making the man steril temporarily(if possible) or stopping sperm production. I don't know if they will. It turns out to be a whole lot easier to make a pill for women, that the economics of it make it hard to justify doing one for men. It might be possible, but if it cost hundreds of dollars a dose, or if it took 4 months to be effective, it's unlikely that it will ever happen.
