Always? Are you sure about that? My church has engaged in several inter-faith events with Muslims, and we certainly don't put them down. We have given them space to speak openly about Islam, separating fact from fiction, and I hardly see that as a hate campaign. We have opened ourselves toward learning about a number of non-Christian groups from actual members of those groups.

Because they have a terrible image.
I refer you to the following site. Within the evident humour there is much truth. LOTS of truth. Do you identify with some of the images and comments made there? Did YOU dance in the street and cheer when the 9/11 attacks were made? Maybe not but MANY of your counterparts did and it appeared on TV.
The truth will become clear when you open this one:
www.prophetmohammed.co.uk
If you ARE a muslim, as I suspect, DO research every page of this site and make some decisions. Some of it will shock you. Lots of it will shock you.
If you ARE a muslim, do reconsider?
Generally, I would then refer you to
www.noreligion.ca
where the writer is 'on the same page' as I am.
One of the problems with muslims is clearly suggested in your question, quote "If you are going to put an anti-muslim message PLEASE don't answer". This shows that you are unwilling to listen to an alternative point of view.
I pity you for submitting to the lies and false promises. I pity you for simply being a muslim, part of the most dangerous religion there is, whether you are of the same mind as so many other crazy idiots that follow the word of a self-appointed so-called messenger, a liar, polygamist and child-sex offender (mohammed - may he rot in pain) or not.
As an educated person, I assume, you should be asking more pertinent questions. Why do you believe in all this nonsense?

not all of us do and those who do not all of the time. You know the reason is because some Muslims ruined your witness by using violence as a method of calling attention to their cause and though as a group you may have disowned them and their actions if you have it has not been loud enough to get to the ears of very many others, which makes Muslims in general seem like co conspirators. Want this situation to end then as a group either disown them or kill them for disgracing the name of Muhammad.
If Muslims sit by quietly this is going to get worse, and more will die and already more Muslims have died than any other group, and it will continue until Muslims as a group take a stand.
There are more successful ways of dealing with oppression look to the "turn your other cheek" advice used by Gandhi and Martin Luther King

Christianity and Islam are founded on a common base. One God, it is also known as monotheism. On the same token, Judaism also believe in one God. I consider the fighting between these three religions are siblings rivalry.
Christian preachers has no other options except to choose the aggressive approach of putting down Muslims or to certain extent offering wealths and positions to get Muslims to convert to Christianity. Muslims would always open for invitation to represent their religion using logical arguments in open forum and also to engage in theological debate/discussion with other scholars from other religions.
It is so difficult to convert Muslims into Christianity. Therefore, the only way is to get Muslims to feel that God has abandoned them and Christ will be a saviour. A weak Moslems (who is only Moslems by name) would fall for that but not a strong Moslems who know their religions and the purpose of their life in this world.

Simple, because unfortunately most Christians (tho not all) only feel comfortable and powerful when they are bashing another religion or race of people. It makes them feel superior.
You must look at their history. In the good old days Christians could just kill anyone that did not agree with them.
Their war on women killed thousands of innocent women and children during the Burning Times.
They have committed genocide in the honor of their loving god.
These are not nice people that you are dealing with. They may pretend now to be all about "love thy neighbor" but their history says other wise. Many excellent sources say that more people have been killed in the name of Christianity than all of the wars in the world. I am inclined to feel that this is true. Look at what they did during the Crusades. There were situations where entire cultures were destroyed down to the last child. Christianity is not a nice thing, they do not play well with others.
Blessings to you.

i'll echo the sentiments others have expressed.
not ALL Christians put down Muslims. some Christians actually get along with muslims. I don't think that is wise--but they're grownups, so what can i say?
your ignorant posts would be accepted more widely if you didn't lump ALL Christians together into one homogeneous anti-muslim mass.

Muslims have only themselves to blame for this when they falsify the Quran to make a Jesus of Isa al Masih ibn Mariam and Christians of Nazaaraa, and some go even further to describe Christianity as monotheistic when a family of three gods is obviously polytheistic.
Such hypocrisy deserves to be put down.

Remember Muslims also put down Christians. This is a public forum...different people think differently. If you don't want anti-Muslim answers then don't post.

I am a born again Christian and I do not put Muslims down and never have. Not all Christians do those things. There are Christians who just claim to be that, and I am a Born again Chrisitan who leaves the judging to God.

I am a Christian, and a true Christian would not put down a Muslim. It is wrong to disrespect someone because of their beliefs. However, we are taught to spread the Good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins at Calvary. Do not feel ashamed of your religion if it is what you truly believe in. A religious battle is not an easy one. But it is fought by evryone who practices any religion. You must fight for what you believe in, and let no man shake your faith. That is the true Christian way. You may apply it to your religion, if it gives you the strenght you need.

Hmmm...I don't put down individual Muslims, since I think most of them are simply decieved, and I know that the Father of lies is very good at what he does...
However, I do put down Islam, as a religion of male-dominance and terrorism, and I totally hate what Islam has done to our black youth in America!
How can those kids not realize...Muhammed was one of the worst racists ever to breathe? And his Arab followers are no better...left up to them, black people would be slaves once again...and this time, no benevolent Christians to come to their rescue!!
