My sins are my problem, Jesus can take care of his own, sounds like he has a few. An egocentric father, a mother who got pregnant without having sex...!?

Plus there is no hell to worry about.

Atheists don't give a hoot about that nonsense. God doesn't exist. Heaven and hell are what the person believes they are. Organised religion is the biggest scam perpetrated on humankind. I was raised in a very religious family in Texas. I had questions that couldn't be answered except being told to read the bible. These were simple questions. One incident, the preacher gave a hellfire & brimstone sermon about the evils of smoking. I was about 9 years old at the time. After the sermon, all the deacons were outside talking. All but 1 were smoking. My question was, "were those deacons going to hell because they were smoking?" You can guess what the answer I got was.

I dont suffer from any mental illnesses and therefore cant subscribe to a cult as my thoughts and actions are based entirely in the *REAL WORLD* This "hell" you talk of is a concept that was created by man kind himself LOL. Dude i pity you.

I expect you believe this cult to be true because it was written in a so called 'holy' book... had you of been born in saudi arabia then you would of rejected this "jesus" you talk of for another fake prophet called mohammed. From an outsiders point of view christianity is a total joke...

Where i live, religious people are an absolute laghing stock... i suppose religious cults like yours do provide some entertainment factor...

The same thing that keeps me from searching the King's Cross Station in London for the entrance to Platform 9 3/4 where one can board the Hogwarts' Express.

Because being a Christian means at some pioint you need to abandon common sense in the name of faith. It requires people to surrender their reason and subscribe to its rhymes in the name of faith.

The christian religion also does not recognize amd acknowledge the concept of goodness. Asked if Gandhi would go to hell or heaven, a christian replied he would go to hell.

It is such mass abandonment of reason that works against Christianity and limits the Christian thought and makes it at best a fundamentalist religion of blind faith and dogma.

Because I don't believe that a loving, just God plays the damnation/salvation game with His children. I do not believe that Christianity is the only correct path to God. I was Christian, raised in the Methodist church. I gave up my membership years ago when it occurred to me that I could not believe good people were going to hell because they didn't follow the Christian path. I gave up religion altogether and am content with my relationship wtih God as it is.

In as much as I was not around to see how everything came into being (and neither were you),I say, "I don't know ..... YET!" To assume that some god, my less than intellectual ancestors made up, instantaneously farted the universe into being, is absurd. If god is absurd, a god/Human hybrid is totally ridiculous.

Not into hiding behind someone's elses innocence to make me look good. I take full responsibility for my own actions and don't expect anyone else to take blame for it. I also do not get into worshipping human sacrifices.

BTW, where does Jesus say that is how one is saved? I have not read in the Bible anywhere where he says one must accept his death or they aren't saved.

Not an Atheist, Why? what keeps you from accepting reality and facing facts?

Why delude yourself? Why continue to believe an insane lie?

Obviously you are a victim of the largest doomsday cult to ever exist!

To every man and woman on earth, they have a time to be born, and born again,
In the word of God, it says by your testimonies will people change, by the way we represent Christ.
If I was a sinner, I would get mad at your question, I know you meant goodness from it.
But your fight is not with flesh and blood, but spirits of darkness in high places. Satan is the one you fight for souls.
Our weapons are not carnal, but might in the pulling down of strong holds.
Not with words. But with prayer, and how we live. What we say. And how we say it.
We are not even to be like a sinner. But full of compassion, and kindness for all. Not just Christan's.
Jesus hung out with sinners, to love them, not what they did. Most got saved. He never told them of hell, he told them of his Father in Heaven, and how much he loved them.
Satan has strong holds on people, till they are broken, you will never save a soul.
Use wisdom, Love them, show them love,
God will do the rest.
Jesus is the Savor, you can pray, and Jesus can do the rest.
His power. His life, we live in us.
Not to gain, but to louse.
