Hi, there are two parts to this answrer
1. Muslims MUST believe that the Bible came from Allah (god) to Jesus. We believe in the bible to be Gods words, however the original bible does not exist no more, therefore it is no longer Gods words as it has been tampered with. There are thousnads of versions of the bible.
2. Muslims learn their religion not only form the Qur'an but also from the Sunnah (Prophetic traditions and narrations). Both of these go hand in hand. Every Muslim MUST use both and follow both, and not deny either of them.
Some things are mentioned very briefly in The Qur'an but explained in detail in the sunnah, so one can not say that this is not in the Qur'an so why do muslims say this.
EDIT:
gratvol, are you sure there are no verses in the Quran which mention Jerusulum?! Have you read this anywhere in the quran... "Children of Israel"? im sure you have!

If one have been to learn the Qur'an and the Bible, they might discover issues very comparable between them. the priority Muslims don't think is in the death/sacrifice of Jesus. Muslims believe he replace right into a prophet of God, not the son or god himself. Muslims do have fun the births of each and every of the prophets, including Jesus, Mohammed, and Abraham, although that is form of like Islam is a blend of each and every of the religions in some factor. We believe in assorted those great adult adult males, yet we believe Mohammed replace into the final prophet and helped unfold the religion of Islam. Jews take Abraham into great attention, Christians take Jesus into great attention, and Muslims take Mohammed into great attention. they are all religions that are and could be dealt with with understand, by way of fact we are all human and the deeper portion of assorted those religions ends up in monotheism, the perception in only one God, and that's the main mandatory element. i'm hoping I even have spoke back all your questions thoroughly, in case you have any confusion, please message! God bless!

We believe in the three books, The Quran, The Bible, and the Tourah. We just believe that the Christians have changed the writing of the Bible and the Jews did the same with the Tourah.

I'm a Muslim, and honestly, I don't know what you're talking about...Generally, we belive in Abraham, and in the Bible; it's one of the Holy Books we believe in (Torah, Bible, Quran, Zaboor..etc)
