There can't be a third choice? Both of those are awful.
Actually I protested in the rain and it was 1 degree from freezing. But it STILL beat church and football :)

It's always church for me on the Sabbath. I avoid activities after church that detract from the spirit of worship. Football on the television is not an activity I'd watch on Sunday.

Jesus not at all went to church on sunday. He went on the Sabbath it extremely is the seventh day of the week. we are to maintain the Sabbath holy and do no artwork. Nowhere has the Sabbath been replaced interior the Bible via God or via Jesus. God in Genesis 2 created the seventh day for one objective, to take a seat back, no different reason, and that's the day that each and every physique stored by the bible, the hot besides using fact the previous. guy replaced the day to Sunday no longer Jesus. think of approximately it, for Jesus to alter the day, He could be disobeying and telling others to disobey the daddy, and that could make Him a sinner, which might make His dying on the flow merely yet another dying, which might leave us all destined for hell. Hebrews 4:8-For if Jesus had given them relax then might He no longer in a while have spoken of yet another day. God gave us relax as spoken in Genesis 2, Nowhere in scripture will you come across Jesus asserting, it extremely is the day you ought to save as Sabbath to any extent further.

Go to church and then invite all the cute guys over to watch football. Make buffalo wings and nachos. Don't forget the pretzels and salami, cheese and crackers! :)

Both. I attend early service (7:30 - 8:30), go for breakfast, then make it home in time for kick-off.
