I think a better question is what is truth? How do you define it? Christians define it as the bible.

I can't speak to why Muslims are, but as a Christian I embrace the truth. I love nothing more than when someone is willing to put forward their case for their belief, and let it be (honestly and respectfully) scrutinized. Or when I'm given the opportunity to present my ideas for scrutiny.
What I dislike are people coming on asking stupid questions (these people exist on both sides of the debate) - especially when those people are at the same time unwilling to, with tolerance and respect, present their ideas for inspection or respond critically to other people's ideas. These people like to live in 3 second sound-bites, which usually make absolutely no sense.

The Word of God is the Truth.
Are you implying that you have been revealed information from God that Christians are ignorant of, or perhaps you are implying that the word sent to Joseph Smith like that to Muhammed was the truth and not from a demon posing as an angel of light or from a deceiving spirit as a test.

the only thing we fear concerning truth is that others will not learn of it in its completeness, especially if we misspoke or were heard incorrectly, we believe we know the truth and are simply waiting for the end times to be lived out so those with hardened hearts will know as well

Thanks For Your Question :)
Well as Muslims we are not afraid or scared at all from the truth in fact God says in The Quraan :" And say: "The truth is from your Lord." Then whosoever wills, let him believe, and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve. " [18:29]
While prophet Muhammad in so many sayings taught us to seek the truth and encourage us to seek the truth He once said " Who is trying to seek the truth and didn't find it gets rewarded "
hope this info helped you to know more about Islam :) if you still wanna know more please fell free to message me anytime

Your premise is not correct. Many people can't deal with reality especially when it conflicts with their knowledge of religion. I am sure you will find this in all religions. Since the teaching are very different even if they are on the same plane heading toward some of the same goals
