I don't think they go looking for an office affair, but it is easy and convenient. That is where you spend 8 hours or more of your day. You spend more time there then you do at home. It is usually in a non threatning atmosphere and usually begins as a friendship. To me its more convenience than anything.

I don't know if it is usually, not know what the factual statistics are, but a co-worker is someone you see almost every day. There is a lot of opportunity to get to know them and for feelings/lust to develop.

Proximity, shared interests, a sense of camaraderie mixed with someone who is unhappy in a relationship or (more likely) a habitual philanderer and you have the formula for betrayal in the work place.

it is usually a coworker, who they see alot. my ex was once a faithful man, who i thought would never cheat, he did not go out to bars, and had his views about cheating.i thought i had a good marriage, but along comes the new coworker, a girl. with her presence in my marriage he changed and eventually could not live two lives anymore, so he left me. it usually is someone very close to them, that they see all the time.

Insecure within their relationship, lack of communication within their relationship, selfish individual and stupid, why would you cheat at your job, so when it ends not only are you completely miserable at home because you have destroyed someone and you are miserable at work because you and the other person cannot get along and can not work together Dumb Dumb Dumb. Good luck and God bless
