Many people find that smoking weed gives them relief from asthma.

MARIHUANA AND ASTHMA by Lisa
I discovered that marijuana relieves (and even prevents) asthma quite by accident. For years, I thought my reaction was idiosyncratic. ...

The not-so-funny thing about asthma is that you never know which things will trigger it or how bad the attack will be. Your already say yours is bad. Also, things that never used to cause an attack can suddenly do so...and even a fatal one! I would not smoke ANYTHING and would stay away from inhaling even second-hand smoke.

I have asthma, and every time I even get a whiff of wood-smoke, for instance, I can feel my lungs close up. "Keeping your puffer handy", as one person said, might work...or might NOT! You wanna gamble w/those odds?

Secondly, when most states are punishing marijuana use more severely than assault and battery, why risk going to jail for months or even years, if you're caught?! It's not worth it. I have nothing at all against weed, just that it is definitely NOT for everyone. You sound like one of those people!

The links below give some basic info on asthma and marijuana. The first link is a must-read for anyone who hasn't gotten their asthma under control.

Unfortunately, if you do a search, you'll find many sites claiming that marijuana can actually HELP asthma. Most of these are sites attempting to legalize it, however, and offer no believable evidence that it helps, rather than harms the lungs of anyone who smokes it (as does tobacco).

I feel your pain. I've had asthma for 14 years now and have seen several doctors. The truth is, there is no known cure for asthma at the moment. But the symptoms can be prevented. It really depends on what causes your brother's asthma. Mine is usually dust and hot weather. But I think the universal method is using the control inhaler.

I cured my Asthma the natural way?

Why smoke in the first place? Any smoking will bring on an astma attack most especially weed as it agravates the hell out of your membranes, remember puff is rough and not good stuff.

My friend has bad asthma. When we were little she couldn't even go skating thats how bad it was. We are 16 now and we smoke SO much pot. (I always found it kinda funny cause her asthma) but she seems to be fine. When you first try it make sure you have your puffer at the ready, just in case.

DONT SMOKE!!!! It is horrible in the first place and its illegal in most areas plus I do think it would cause a pretty bad asthma attack because smoke causes me bad breathing problems and I dont even smoke or have asthma. I think it would cause you segnificant breathing problems and possibly cause brain damage from the chemicals and oxygen deprivation.

If you have asthma, you should'nt be smoking ANYTHING! ! ! Weed smokers hold it in deeper and longer, a good way for you to end up in an ICU, or DOA.
