I don't, I mean, what's he ever done for me?

Edit: If God really loves me I bet he'd forgive me and wouldn't click a thumbs down unlike the rest of you 'so called God worshippers'. I'm sure God is open minded, unlike the majority of people here on the Religion & Spirituality section.

Thank you for asking. not that I can ever explain enough, but here goes....
He is very close, has always been there, and the only one I trust always will be, takes care of me, gave me everything, not just the material stuff, he gave me my mind, thoughts and spirit. My friends, family and pets. He gave us all nature and life, our hearts and emotions.
He CHOSE to be kind, generous and forgiving even though no one could have done anything about it if he didn't!
I don't know anyone else that is a fraction that good!
He has never let me down in my darkest hours. Helps me everyday in so many ways, big and small, he never misses out on anything, never forgets me. Thinking of him warms my heart when I 'm lonely and reassures me when I'm scared. He helps me back when I'm lost, and solves my problems in amazing ways that never cross my mind.
I hate to sound so selfish, it seems I only love him because he GIVES me, but he also gives others. I look at how much a mommy cat cares for her kittens and I see his love and care.
It's everywhere.
Sure there are also bad things in our world, but I have heard of no other powerful creature that has as much absolute control over everything and still chooses to be kind.
I love him because he is: Ultimately powerful yet perfectly fair and further more infinitely forgiving. No one else is.
I love him because he is him. He is the one.

Because He first loved me. I'm created by Him and in His image. I'm fearfully and wonderfully made. He loved me and all of the human race so much that rather then see us die and be doomed for eternity lost in our sins He sent Jesus His son to die in our place to become sin and to remove sin and death from us. He gives each of us a free will to either get to know Him and Jesus and to live for Him and to some day have the reward of Heaven not just for knowing Him but for doing God's will. His will is that none should parish but all should come to repentance and have everlasting life and God uses us to accomplish His will. We also have the free will choice to not know God turn our backs and run from Him and live our lives our way. But both ways have their just rewards one way God's way leads to Eternal life in Heaven the other way mans way leads to Hell and eternal damnation, torment, and separation from God. The choice is yours. As for me and my house we will serve the LORD Jesus Christ and know Him as our personal savior, friend, redeemer, KING and LORD.

The Lord Jesus Christ has always been good to me ever since I came to know him. He has always stayed close to me even when I was not aware of it. For a time, I even walked away from the Christian faith and Jesus never gave up on me. I am more content in this time of my life than I have ever been. I thank God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit.

heaven is merely spending eternity in the presence of God, which is so amazing I cannot hope to begin to describe what I imagine it would feel like...I love God because He first loved me...and because God is to feared and revered because of His power, but I love Him because He has not done anything that will not benefit me by bringing glory to Him, that He uses His power to draw others to Him, to bring Him praise and to spread His own love among His creation, who He does not have to care for but does so anyway...if you really want to know why to love God, try reading the Bible...He is amazing
