I don't think you should give him another chance because if he did it once he'll do it again. Maybe that's why he keeps doing because he knows he'll get away with it and you'll always be there. I think you need to be strong and move on and let him know that you think you deserve better.

Once a cheater, always a cheater. Especially if he's done it to you more than once. Sounds to me like you're scared to be alone, or scared you can't do better. But no matter who you are, you can do better than a cheater. Keep your eyes open, there are tons of guys out there. Don't settle for a loser.
