ohmygosh... when i read this, i thought about myself.. because YOU ARE EXACTLY LIKE ME. i'm not a technical (math, science) person, and although i do pretty good in science, i am AWFUl, TERRIBLE, DEVASTATING at math (really).. but somehow my parents have got into their minds that i'm a super-smart whiz kid, and expect me to get straight As every single year. .. when i DON'T. i get As in LA and SS, because i love those subjects... but not Math.
But somehow, when I took the placement test, i ended up in Algebra.. which is the highest class in my grade, and now it's all hard for me.... and i'm practically failing...
sorry i got in my life details... but here r some tips that i hope r gonna make me do better this yr...
*don't procrastinate... i hate homework.. that's what i always do and end up panicking in the morning
*study well before tests.. again, procrastination.
*talk to the teacher... go for help after-school..
sorry about my useless tips, but that's all i have, considering i'm just like you...
UGH. school tomorrow... torture...

The way to do better in a subject you don't like is to find friends that are doing well and study with them. Not just once, but often. You probably won't "get it" yourself, and finding assistance is part of being smart and working hard.

I do not study, but I do the homework and pay attention to the teacher and I have an A - average. Maybe you should try the same.

I would suggest finding a tutor at school if you struggle in math. It's a hard subject and you're not the only one who has trouble in it. I had trouble with it as a kid and I still do. Just keep your head up and you will do fine.

same here, only people say that about how good i can draw, but im all like, "I dion't even draw so much, i just draw when im sad/depressed..."
anyway, i don't really listen, to what other people say, unless they are giving me some pretty good advice, if not, i just ignore them, i think its better to live your life, and not a life where people controll it and makie you do stuff you don't, for instance making me sign up for art classes...
