How do you get out of a speeding ticket? Drive the correct speed limit, and that should keep you from getting a speeding ticket.
What to say? Oops. Sorry. Then pay the ticket. Or take a defensive driving course...

First, if you ask me when my radar gun was calibrated, instant ticket just so you can bring it up in court and I can have a good laugh. Just be straight with me. Don't lie or try to make an excuse. Saying something like, I just wasn't paying attention and I'm sorry. If you need to write me a ticket, I understand. If I think you mean it, I don't need to provide you a reminder. If I think you are BSing me, I'll give you a piece of paper to help you remember not to speed. Just accept responsibility for the fact that you were speeding. If I have you pulled over, I already know you were in excess of the limit and my radar gun gets tested(to ensure calibration) before every shift.

don;t concern yourself with the cop he has already determined to give you a ticket speacailly if your in the wrong the best place to do something in court like pleading no low or explaining what happened and possibly getting the speed lowered which lowers the points on your license or the money you pay

Every cop is different. Some might let you off if you come up with a good enough excuse - but not because they believe you, but because you may be creative and amusing.
I once pulled over a lady that did a U-turn at a "No U-turn" light. She insisted she did not do one. I was incredulous, but amused. I said "What would you call it then? She said, "I made a left and then I made another left". I let her off with a warning!

Probably not much...
If you are an attractive young woman you might have a chance..
Otherwise...
Pay the ticket or sign up for a defensive driving course if they are offered...

If he has his mind on giving you a ticket, avoid trouble and just accept it quietly, otherwise he can make things rough for you, like adding more charges, whether they are legit, or not.

Just be honest, admit that you may have been going over a little, but your attention was on the road and traffic. Unless you blatently speeding, then you should probably just say OOPS and nothing else and sign on the dotted line.

Just be calm, listen to what he has to say, do what he says.
Hope that he just gives you a warning.
The best way to avoid a speeding ticket is to avoid speeding.
