your BMI of 19 indicates that you are now at the ideal weight. If it drops below 18.5 it is classed as Under-weight. Your body wants to stay at this even if your mind doesn't, so the weight loss has stopped. If you are over 5ft you probably look a lot slimmer than you think you are.If it's a flat stomach that is your problem then any abdominal exercise will help. The sit-up exercise really is good and one I use which you could try is to hold your stomach in as tight as you can, while doing something like sitting at the computer, even just walking down road. You actually start doing it without thinking about it after a while and it really strenghtens the muscles.
I dont want to lose weight I'm 4ft 9 and at BMI17 so I'm trying to gain weight and finding that hard! I'm not skinny! I am a bit too slim but want a flat stomach. It's the only exercise I do and I eat well. I've been this weight since I was young (I'm now in my 50's) Coming from the other side of the fence I Can only say, MEN really DONT LIKE skinny girls! Most men I know when I ask them like LOOKing at thin women but think curvy is better and those that know me well tell me I'm TOO slim for them! Including MY HUSBAND!
Forget losing weight at a size 8/10 YOU will BE SKINNY

I just recently discovered a natural & healthy way to gain energy and lose weight that's even safe for people with diabetes. I implemented an anti-oxidant juice, a healthy energy drink (that only cost $1.oo per serving), and a simple and great “No Diet Weight Loss Plan” into my life. I feel 100% better and have a ton of more energy than I have ever had and I have lost 2 1/2" in my waist and I have lost 22 pounds (29 more to go) in only the last 30 days. What’s incredible (honestly) is that I did not diet (that’s boring), eat special foods (that cost extra money), skip meals (that makes your stomach growl), or even exercise (as I can not because of disc damage in my lower back). Once I get down to my weight goal then I will go on the maintenance plan for however long I desire. If I get off and see a few pounds coming back then I can just start the maintenance plan again, unless of course I don't do anything and then in a year or so allow it all to come back, been there / done that. I have been told that I can not send a web link through this service but if you would like e-mail me or IM me from my profile and I will point you to the web site and to the products that have changed my life and vastly improved my health

Perhaps your body is saying that you are at the right size! I'm doing Weight Watchers to get to size 12 although 14 would be wonderful. There is more to a woman than size. I daresay to stay 8/10 you have to eat rabbit leaves. You might not like the answer I'm giving but don't spend your life trying to get the perfect size. In truth most men aren't bothered and prefer someone with flesh not bones. If you want to stay trim then become an exercise instructors or work in a gym. Go to Sports college.
Whatever you do happiness doesn't come in sizes. Do you think that Victoria Beckham is happy even though she appears so glamorous all the time. Just be yourself.

Firstly don't diet. Eat sensibly at the right times, exercise is key to losing weight. And why do you want to be a size 8 or 10 the average woman in the UK is a size 14 so you are better than average. Secondly as long as your doing something to keep your heart rate nice, something to tone the muscles and something to give you that flexibility then you are fine.
I am a Martial arts teacher and i see people all the time I've personally trained over 2000 people and the trouble with our society especially for women is that they want to be like the celebrity's and its wrong be your own person be happy with your size because you will probably find you will not be able to become much slimmer than you are because of your body type or frame. Sorry about the little rant but i worry when people tell me these things just happy with who you are, thank you and good night.

There is nothing wrong with being a size 12 and if you drop down to a size 8-10, you may become technically underweight as you already have a BMI of 19.
My suggestion to you would be to have your body fat percentage checked professionally. If it is between 25% and 30%, you may personally want to lose a few more pounds, but if it is less than 25%, you should stay as you are as you are as this is considered ideal. HTH : )

Make sure you make time for breakfast. It should be the biggest meal of the day. Snack three times a day on things like carrots, apples, celery. Drink water. If you feel hungry and you've already had your meal or your snack water will make you feel full. If you don't like water then try other non-caffeine, non-carbonated beverages.
You could also do 2 minutes of sit ups and push ups a day. That's 4 minutes of excercise a day that'll show you plenty of results.
If you like to walk or run...a 1/2 hour a day...even better
Don't think of it as a diet. Just change your eating habits eating whatever you eant in moderation.

Some people never have a flat stomach. I vary between size 4 and 18 and always feel fat. If you can maintain size 12 you may not be fully happy, but things could be a lot worse. Diets don't work !

You say that you are a size 12. GET REAL!!!! THIS IS NOT LARGE!!!! It is a perfectly normal size.
You say that your BMI is 19. THE HEALTHY BMI IS 25!!!!
Please be aware of what you are doing to yourself. Not least, you appear to be allowing your size and weight run/ruin your life, when you should be enjoying yourself.
If you just want to tone up your stomach, then try doing 40-60 sit-ups a day. Good luck with your future.

ROUTINE IS BAD! LoL. Change up what you're eating and what you're doing in terms of exercise. Plateaus (it's what they call getting stuck on one size) happen 'cause your body has become used to what you're doing and no longer reacts to it. Change your workout! Increase your water intake! This could be the beginning of a fun new chapter in your regimen. IE: you could join a salsa class, or switch to a vegetarian diet. GOOD LUCK on those last few pounds.
