I'm in one of my moods and I'm losing it. Someone please say something to cheer me up. I've had a bad day, with nothing but bad news. Now I don't know how to deal with it. Please someone say something, no bull-sh*t please.

Everyone has bad days. You just have to try to find something to do that you enjoy to try to take your mind off of your problems, like listen to music, go shopping (Retail therapy), go for a walk...exercise is a great way to boost endorphins, which can affect mood

I had a day just like that two days ago...looked like I was going to have to move from my home where I've lived for 7 years, was going to lose the heat to my home while I tried to pack and find a rental (which I couldn't afford), etc., etc. So I called a good friend of mine and we talked it over, and she reminded me that times when we (and we all have those times) feel that way, we need to talk it out with someone we trust who's a good listener and know that better times are coming. Also, my grandmother, bless her heart, would ask if I had done anything for anyone else...she pointed out that that was the fastest way to feel better - because there's always someone who has even a simple need that we can help, and it sure makes you feel better immediately.

So, we deal with the rotten times knowing that we're worth a lot to those around us, and that we will eventually come out of the mood. If, however, you have these moods often, I'd suggest that you see a counselor or a psychologist. Sometimes these "moods" can be due to a simple chemical imbalance and can be evened out with simple medication. Think it over, see what fits your particular situation (because you're the only one who knows what is going on in your life) and know that at least one person out here in Yahoo! Answers cares about you.

Gee, if your anything like me and Im in a down mood, nothing anyone can say can cheer me up, I usually get shitty with them for trying....lol. Sometimes you just have to have a bad day, sometimes it is ok to feel down...where are the rule books to say you have to feel happy all the time. You know what, its the down times that make you think more. Its the down times that make you become stronger. Its the down times that will make you decide what it is in life you really want. Without the down times we would never appreciate the good times. Just think of it as a learning experience....its not a cliche. Bad things happening is to make you stronger. I have been through so much bad in my life that I really am quite strong now. I certainly know what I want in my life because the bad times taught me that I never want to go there again....so I will put myself into situations and surround myself with the people I choose to be with. I want to be happy and I will not make the same mistakes I have made in my past, simply because I didnt like the places it took me. Use this time as a positive experience...do some real soul searching, you will like yourself more from the experience. If you really are not liking the place you are at right now, then try to put what is bothering you into perspective, e.g....was there anything you could have done to prevent the outside forces from affecting you? Or are you just reacting from a serious of events you had no control over? Look at things clearly and ask yourself are your feelings justified. Whatever the answer, it is a learning experience. I dont begrudge anyone their bad times, its the bad that make us strong.....believe me, I am living proof of that.

Tomorrow is another day, with a whole new different set of circumstances, so maybe what you have learnt today will have an effect on the things you come across tomorrow.

Hey Ryan,

Whatever the bad news is, I have faith in you to deal with it, no matter what. Some things take longer than others to know how to deal with, so go easy on yourself. You will know the right thing to do. If you ever want to talk, I'm still here. Whatever the trouble is, I hope things take a turn for the better. I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

Everyone has a bad day once in a while. Just try to avoid taking it out on other people. You`re smart for posting it here instead of thoosing your temper. Maybe if you just try to avoid other people as much as possible for now and then hopefully by tommorrow you`ll be in a beter mood.

You can learn to change your aura where all feelings and emotions are made electrically. Using food, exercise, chemicals and endorphins you can see and feel the radio signals of your body change. Others have learned to manipulate another aura by using techniques that are seldom spoken. The closest you can get is to look at Hindu teachings.

I think a chat room is a more appropriate place for this kind of discussion.

Find someone you already know and are comfortable talking to instead of a bunch of well-intending strangers.

Anyways, God bless you.

If there was a way to make you smile I would be glad too. Just hang in there and think happy thoughts. I will pray for you even if you are not religious

Think of how well your concert went and the video. You are OK, friends are all around. If you need to talk, I'll listen.
