just to let everyone who has answered my previous questions know that it was a false alarm which is good news, (bit of a stupid vet though). i will be arranging for her to be spayed as soon as possible. thanks for all the advice from you all. Margie X

just a little note to others, before you start saying anything like why hasnt she been spayed before now or how irrisponsible of me take a look at my other questions.

Lucky kitty, she must be relieved :) Tell her to be more careful next time and no unprotected sex :)

Animals have false pregnancies too. My Old English sheepdog actually dripped milk. Anyway, take comfort in the nobility - Mary Tudor also suffered from false pregnancies, which Philip, the King of Spain, and her husband, didn't find very amusing.
