Greenwich Village, Manhattan, got a little drunk on Bleeker street once watching a baseball game and drinking JD the people there were very kind to a clueless Englishman.

Greenwich Village. There are some great little parks there as well as some really cool shops, also a lot of sex shops but it does have a very large gay community
