It is proper to ask god for a loving wife, i asked god for someone who will take care of me and will treat me right. Jesus answered my prayer, now i have a loving boyfriend who won't let me out of his site!
Honey, God is...God...not a genie or the fairly odd parents! Never be specific about this kind of stuff!

Always, remember, God helps those who help themselves. Don't ask God for a wife, but you could ask him to help you find a wife. Put yourself in situations where you will mingle or associate with women such as church dinners, benefits or special projects.
Some communities have singles activities where you might meet that special lady. One more thing, don't force it....let things happen naturally. One day when you look up you'll catch someone looking back at you, and the magic will take care of itself.

Is a god a genie in a bottle granting wishes? What a pathetic way to think of god. I would not insult him with a wish list like he is Santa Claus. Read your bible or exercise your free will to choose your own and make your own mistakes or good choices. Quit bugging god with your life that you should take responsibilities in. He is not there to wipe your nose everytime it drips. God does not have a mail order bride business. God is not married and doesn't have a wife so why would you consult a bachelor that doesn't need a wife as to getting one. If God is single doesn't that tell you marriage is not god's choice so why should it be ours?

I don't think there's anything wrong with asking God for a wife, as God loves us and wants us to be happy. The problem arises in that God knows us better than we know ourselves, and perhaps when you ask for specifics you would be counteracting the better choice that God has waiting just for you, more in keeping with your overall happiness.
Then if God gave you what you asked for, and it didn't work out well, whose fault would it be?
For myself, I do desire an appropriate husband in the future. I am busy being my best self, growing in love daily, and leaving the specifics to..... you guessed it, God. :-)
Blessings and good luck.

Its 100 percent valid and proper to request all our needs, including a poise and GOD fearing wife from GOD Almighty. Also its better to seek HIS guidance in all matters.

God can do anything. If you are a true believer in God then you know that! Ask him for anything you want but be sure that your ways are pleasing to him.
