Yes, but people respond differently to medications and it may or may not work well for you

Any antidepressant is good but ONLY if it works for the person it is prescribed for. What works good for one person may not work well for another. If the doctor has prescribed this for you need to give it at least 14 days before you see full effect of this medication. If after that time it doesn't seem to be helping then call the doc and let him know. If you notice side effects these also should be reported to the doc.

yes, i have tried many and paxil is definately better than most others. Dont try Zoloft. I took it for 5 years. I've been off it for over a year now and i'm still having tremors from the withdrawal.

It has been the difference between night and day for me. Of course, different medications affect people in different ways. But Paxil definitely buoys me up, so that I can deal with the issues that keep me pressed down. I take 20mg.

I took it 2 years ago and at that time I didn't know that it was an antidepressant but for me it put me to sleep all day long but maybe it was my reaction to it. good luck!!

Quite frankly, no anti depressant is good. Medications that attempt to change ones mood are man's attempt to fix a spiritual problem. YOU may correct this problem yourself apart from medication. Good luck, it is a doable thing!
