same thing happens to my hair too.
i dont always have the time if i wash my hair in the morning to dry it completely. so up it goes in a bun, damp... 10 hours later it is still damp. the only thing i can think of that would be bad is if it got moldy up like that. otherwise i don' t think it is a problem.

No. I do that or put it into a ponytail after my shower. I always make sure to take down my bun or ponytail by 6pm so that my hair has the chance to finish air-drying. I don't have problems with split ends. My hair's not overly dry. I don't have scalp problems like dandruff or tender areas.

The best thing to do is take your hair down once you get home to let it air dry. Blow dry it on low if it's not fully dry by bedtime.

i used to do that to my hair every day for three years, its has been two since i stopped and and my hair is still horrible.

take showers at night and let your hair air dry, then instead of spend 20 minuets in the shower, spend a little time on your hair, you will look good and hopefully feel good too! but always keeping it up will cause a soft spot on u scalp and then it will get oily and lots of dandruff will form not to mention buns kill your ends -good luck

Yes, it can create a tender area on your scalp that will build up with wet skin tissue and turn into dandruff. Also, have you ever smelled a towel that never fully dried and was stuck at the bottom of the hamper, yes it can mildew, which in essence is a fungus and that can lead to illness.

Rubbermaid additionally now has a trunk like container that works particularly stable (it relatively is approximately $20 at Walmart). It has wheels on it, and it additionally has someplace to place a lock on it as stable. i exploit that throughout the dorm, and it works stable. For camp, i exploit a duffle bag, besides the undeniable fact that our camp aspects counselors with dressers.

Yes!!! Mold will start to grow- at best it will start to smell. give yourself more time to do your hair so you have time to dry it- or wear it out for once and let it air dry. I have dreads and my mom is a hairstylist so I have seen the carnege reaped by mistreating your hair.
