I expect you mean the soft, wooly variety of muffler.
Cats like the springy texture. Give Kitty an angora sweater of her own, and she'll leave your muffler alone.
Maybe.

Well, the only mufflers I know of are on cars and I've never heard of a cat trying to eat one, I doubt it would even be possible.
So, is muffler a slang term? if so what is a muffler?

I think the question really is, why do mufflers eat cats?

Probably for the same reason my cat use to eat my socks....well, at least chew holes in them. Cats are just plain strange at time...cats will do as they please.
I am assuming your reference to muffler would be similar to a scarf that one wraps around their neck to keep warm.

When did you last give any food to your cat?
No, seriously, cats don't eat mufflers. Not enough protein, you see. Please check again with a specialist that the furry animal you own is a cat.

i'm particular your going to love your no muffler truck once you get a outstanding fat cost ticket for loud exhaust. that's evan better effective even as that's due for the once a year inspection and also you've were given to spend all that money to fix you exhaust to inventory.

Maybe if you fed him real food he wouldn't have to resort to mufflers.
