marriage in the past.

But I'd like to one day marry...should I get out of this relationship now? Or should I wait till I find someone else that is long term material?
Every time I think about leaving him, the thought hurts too bad...but I am never going to mention the M word to him because of how he feels...at the same time, I should not ignore my desires either.

Help--only if you know what I am dealing with and have dealt with it yourself (unless you're a troll, in which case, you'll get automatically ignored...)

you need to talk to him, the worst that will happen is he does not want to get married. If you need the ring you will know it is time to leave, but you need to keep the communication open anyway. If you can't talk about this, then maybe he is not really the one anyway.

His bad marriage had nothing to do with you, 'did it? If he's still dealing with issues from his former marriage, he shouldn't be dating! It seems like he brought a lot of excess baggage into your relationship. At this point, he's more of a liability than asset. He might not be a very good choice for a partner. If you don't make some changes, you'll be the one who pays for his/her mistakes. 'Is that what you want? You might want to consider a more healthy, stable mate, especially if you're considering marriage. lol.....NMT

Well, of course you should get out if he isn't or doesn't want anything to do with Marriage and you DO.

There's no reason to only live for his want's. You deserve to get the things you desire.

I'd get out before I met someone new. This way, you wouldn't have to live your life feeeling guilty as being a cheater.
Good Luck.

If you have problems with him you should get out of this relationship before he hurts you or does something to you
there are plenty more guys out there that can treat you better and that will want to marry you
or maybe it is just because he is scared of getting married

HAVE YOU BEEN TOGETHER FOR A LONG TIME. JUST START TALKING ABOUT IT AND SEE HOW HE FEELS IF YOU'D LEAVE. YOU ALSO DESERVE A LIFE AND FAMILY. THEY DID A SPECIAL ON DR. PHIL ABOUT THIS. SOME GUYS SAID YES AND OTHERS NO. LADIES HAD WAITED YEARS TO START THEIR LIVES OVER. DO YOU WANT TO LIVE LIKE THIS OR MOVE ON. LOTS OF QUESTIONS TO ANSWER. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

What is more important in your life? To be married, or to be with him? If he is afraid of marriage only in a "legal" sense, does it really matter?

drama! You won't mention the word, but you are willing to leave? Shouldn't you at least have that discussion first?

so if you've just admitted that you'll never marry him then why lead him on? you are only wasting your time and his time.
