I don't think the cat wants to hurt the guinea pig. i recently got a cat but i have always had a guinea pig in my room i had to put the cat into my room cause my dogs don't like the cat and vise versa the cat just acts like hes trying to hunt them but they aren't scared cause the guinea pigs r in a cage. The cat may want to pet the guinea pig my cat wants to pet everything my hand my face and anything he can get to so ur cat might want to pet the guinea pig im not saying u should let the guinea pig out to c if it gets a long with the cat.

I had a small rabbit once that actually went crazy because of that. The cat was always punished, but it never stopped. I think the best thing to do is physically keep the cat from doing it like moving the guinea pig somewhere else or closing or locking the door to the room the guinea pig's in. Good luck.

do not let your cat around the pig. although your cat may not be hurting the other animal now, it is in a cats nature to hunt and it could unexpectedly attack. leave your guinea pig where the cat cannot get to it. you don't want your guinea pig to be in a situation where your cat is able to torment it. your pig cant talk, but if i could im sure it'd tell you to keep the cat far away.

just put yourself in that poor guinea pigs place.... that's like a human getting swatted at by a lion.

she wont stop..its like her instict to hunt the guinea pig

my daschund likes to do the same thing

so i keep my guinea pig in the basement (its heated lol)

the only thing you can do is put the cage somewhere the cat cant go, dont put the cage anywhere high cuz it might fall and the cat can prob. jump up there anyways...
