I have really hairy arms for a young teenager. They are so hairy that I don't even take my jacket off during the day. I want to shave them but I'm not sure if I should.

I was undecided about shaving my arms for the longest time. In June I finally went ahead and did it. The first time I had them waxed and I don't know if that made a difference or not but I find I don't have to shave them as often as I need to shave my legs. The hair also doesn't come in as course so it's not noticeable at all when it starts to grow back. I probably only need to shave them once every 2 or 3 weeks.

I use the intuition razor and I haven't had any problems with nicks or cuts or razor burn. The elbows are a delicate area though so be careful!

Celeste is half right. Arm hair is prone to fading if you spend a lot of time in the sun or outside with your arms exposed. If you shave, it will grow back as its natural, unfaded color and this can make it appear to be darker and thicker. There is a special comb you can buy that will thin out our arm hair without removing it completely. That and bleaching what is left should do the trick. Good luck!

i've got have been given executed this using fact that junior severe college (i'm now 33), and definitely all began waxing it over previous few years so as that i did now no longer ought to shave it. i've got have been given never have been given here in the time of that it grows in thicker as human beings say, yet you're waiting to certainly ought to do it many times. I certainly have very dark hair and fairly diminished dermis, so I do purely now no longer in consumer-friendly words like the seem or har on my hands. very final diagnosis, in case you do now no longer liek hair on your hands, shave it, wax it, despite the fact that. There't now no longer something anymore incorrect with that than with shaving your legs (or everywhere else). that's a controversy of decision, hygene and private style.

Well you have many choices. You can shave of course.Don't let anyone tell you that I will grow back thicker because that is not true. You can also use Nair which I think is better but it you want to get the hair off fast the quickest way is shaving.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Hey almost every girl has to shave their under arms. I started when I was twelve. If they are that bad go ahead. I would rather look good then have to feel bad about my self. It is just like shaving your legs! No biggie!

um yeah shave if you really want to(and your arms really are as hairy as chewbacca)but shave very slowly to avoid cuts and nicks and bumps and redness, and razorburn(ouch!) or you could go and wax them, then theyll grow back a lot later and thinner(hopefully) because youd be removing the root of the hair:)

I actually know a lot of girls that shave their arms. A lot. The only bad thing I guess would be stubble. You could wax your arms.

There isn't any real proof to say that hair grows back thicker after you shave it. Hell, I shave everything off, and I'm a male. Personally I hate body hair.
