Im doing a project of taste buds I need to know when do u start losing your tase buds???

you don't ever completly loose you taste buds they just change you do grow new ones often drink hot choclate while it's still hot burn your tounge and you can't taste much for a few days give it some time 3 days or so and presto you can taste again your taste bud change all through out your life they may even become duller
seeming like they are not there due to old age or bad habits such as smokeing but you never completly loose them under normal conditions

When one has fever he loses taste buds temporarily.
Smokers lose taste buds after few years of smoking.
Normally people lose taste buds after 60+.

I know from working Geriatrics for years that many people in nursing homes have very little sense of taste. The last 2 they identify is sweet and sour.

well...you'llcan't feel it but once in a while your taste buds will be replaced by new ones but there are instances like when you burn your tongue etc.
