Ulcer on tounge, very very painful?

I have an ulcer on my tounge and it is very painful. I do music with children tonight and it really hurts when I talk. Any suggestions on how to ease the pain? Getting rid of the ulcer? Please, it really hurts

i think you should visit dentist that because ulcer it duo to many caus so best treatment depend in cause
some reason is Autoimmune disses and other duo to some habit and may be duo to some serious disses

the best treatment for that rest try don't move ur tounge to help rebuilding surface and eat soft food and don't drink hot drink

there is no drug for hat but i told u in some causes its need drug if that related to systemic reason

I know how they hurt: they suck your will to live. You can buy products at the pharmacy which will coat the sore so that it's much less painful. Ambesol and Kankaid are some brand names I remember.
Now for the painful bit. I find to get rid of them more quickly, it's best to gargle with salt water several times a day. The water should be as hot as you can take it. The pain is excrutiating, but it really helps shorten the time the ulcer is around for. I've run little experiments where I didn't use salt water, and they always lasted longer.
Mouthwash helps too.

My dad always made us put an asprine on it. It burns during it but then it doesnt hurt as bad anymore

try tetracycline caps,break them ,mix in water andswish in mouth and use a topical anesthetic on the ulcer.its probably apthous ulces
