Amy begged me to cut off contact with Kate, and said we could be happy together forever. I could never commit to Amy. Now Amy has met someone else-her dad's friend, 20 years older, married, has a daughter in her 20s, and Amy tells me she loves him. He lives in another country, but she thinks it can work with him despite the complications. I have finally gotten over Kate, and want Amy back desperately, but she says she cannot give me what i want. Still Amy and I hang out and she acts like my gf, we sleep together, she calls me at 2am when drunk, says she misses me, says she thinks of the "possibility" of us together. Is this the behavior of a girl in love with someone else? Can i get her back? should i cut off contact and see if she comes back to me?

i dont think that you guys are really the best match for each other if you had another gf while with her, and she now has another bf. you guys may really like each other, or even love each other, but love isnt always enough. if you two are never willing to commit to each other one the other one needs it, then maybe you should break it off and start something new with someone else, someone you you can commit to 100 percent, and someone who will commit to you 100 percent.
