well, in a way it messes with both. What caffeine really does is make your heart beat faster, and its a mild diuretic, so the fluids in your body will go much faster. (in other words, you'll go to the washroom more and you need to replenish your body with water to preven dehydration).
I've had too much caffeine before and all it resulted in was a cold sweat, and the jitters... it also gave me a killer headache.
they say caffeine temporarily revs your metabolism too, which would explain why the fluids exit your body so fast :)

do no longer bypass chilly turkey. Drink much less each and every day. in case you drink 24 sodas today, drink 23 or 22 the following day, and a million-2 much less each and every day till you're right down to a useful quantity (a million-2 cans, not greater, an afternoon.) Caffeine isn't the only challenge you would be having with that plenty soda. Sugar is yet another concern. i'm shocked your docs did no longer enable you with a plan for this. yet relatively, gradual withdrawal is maximum suitable.

caffeine effects the entire body. what it does is enlarge your blood vessels and so delivers more blood to your brain and also makes your heart work harder and faster. in small dosages it can help waken a person or at least help alert them. however too much can do permenant damage and even death to the cardiac tissues.

what do you think?...that your heart is in your pocket and your head is on the table...well we have one body and they are all connected...it effects the head and the blood and the stomach...all in and out of our body...and mostly removes the water from our body...and makes most of the vitamins in a way that the body can not absorb them...dont use caffeine...

It's a stimulant. Yes, it affects the brain as does any chemical introduced into the system. It can make you jumpy and anxious, or brighten your spirits depending on how your particular system responds to it.
