Why not?? Celtic would give him the marketing rights to his own brand of sportswear and we have one of the biggest spending supports in the world I'm sure Desmond would top up the shortage in wages like he done with Keanne. Beckham would be great for us in Europe and the club will think on these lines if Becks is interested but I'll bet wee fly Gordons slip to the loud mouthed Scottish press will catch Beckhams attention... wee desktops no mug..

Why would a really big name go and play for an SPL team? There's only the jocks who think Celtic are a big team. Beckham would join any premiership team above Celtic if asked. I'd stick to signing average stars like Graveson and Hessellink.
Who next? Ronaldinho? Rooney? Henry?

i saw this and laughed, but i guess if he is not getting enough games just now then why not as long as he does not think he is bigger than the club. They are doing very well without him may do even better with but he is not a god save. Maybe if he wants to move back to britain, he could always live down south and travel up.
He might miss the sunshine though and I dont know wot posh will think of glasgow. Lets wait and see do you think posh will eat a haggis or deep fried mars bar (though I dont know a fellow scotsman that has)

Cool. There's no reason why he should stay in Real Madrid, they don't really need him. He's benched and they are obviously doing fine without him. but wow, if he plays for Celtic, that'd be sometihng else. I'd like to see that. I'd rather have him play for Celtic than Spurs any day.

Hmmmm have my doubts that Posh will want to come from Sunny Spain to rain soaked Glasgow.
But hey....gauranteed European football, keeping his image rights...who knows....
He may have to drop about £70,000 a week but how much money can a millionaire really want?
Great player...may bring some additional press reports... but don't think he could hack the pace of the game in Scotland..
He's already said he wouldn't play for another English club... Maybe he'll go to another spanish club or Italian.

We wouldn't want him. Sure, he can pass a ball onto a postgage stamp and curl a free kick into any square foot of a goalmouth, but it would mean Vicky turning up at Parkhead and blocking the ladies' toilets with vomit. The backlash would mean that we guys who take our partners to a match would then suffer the backlash. It's all relative.

im not exactly a fan of celtic or becks, but its not gonna happen.
becks has past his see by date, and celtic just want him coz he has a high profile name, they shud buy a younger player if they r gonna spend money.

If he wants to follow in Roy Keane's footsteps, he'll join Celtic, last a bit longer than Keane and then retire.

Just think, that would be amazing, for everyone concerned I think. Not only for his talent, but can you imagine the fans response to Victoria when she's sittin at Parkhead watchin her man. Now that would be real entertainment.
