That's a very COMPASSIONATE thought on your part. I had a dream the other night about a Native woman giving birth, and a drum was beating. I wonder if a recording of a heartbeat might help the mother with birthing and relieve birth trauma. The
baby fighting to leave it's mothers womb!
I suggested birthing in warm water too years ago, before I heard
it in medical circles. But I've got my moon in Aquarius. My mind
is 50 years in the future.

I keep trying to answer this question, and I can't. I don't know if you are serious. Or if you are trying to make a statement about disagreeing with abortion. Or just being sick minded.

I think all life is precious and deserves the fundamental right of being born.

I'm not willing to get involved in this debate except to make 2 important clarifications.

3rd trimester abortions are very clearly illegal in all states.
The he/she distinction is irrelevant when referring to a 1st or 2nd trimester fetus.

Yes. And the painkiller should cost a million dollars with the cost to be borne by the parents.

This is a touchy subject, but yes, they should at least inject the fetus with a lethal dose of a painless sedative before destroying it.

That, of course, is a loaded question. But I love the statement it makes. Would love to hear someone try to make a rational argument. Excellent.

that's a good question...I never thought of that before. Maybe the fetus is in pain when it's aborted, and it should be given a painkiller. That would be more ethical and humane.

Hmmm, yes I suppose they could be given something. But pain killers won't make dimemberment painless. So I would say it should be killed before dismemberment.

Third trimester abortions should not be performed anyways.
