Don't you think this is a question for your doctor and not a bunch of strangers on Yahoo?

There are usually no restrictions for 2 days prior to surgery. You should have been given pre-op instructions from your Dr. Usually you will have nothing to eat (NPO) after midnight the day of your surgery.

Check with your surgeon's nurse in charge of scheduling your procedure. You should have been given those instructions at the time you were scheduled. Make sure you don't try to "wing it," as your surgery may have to be re-scheduled or you might end up very ill if you haven't received (and followed exactly) the pre-surgical diet required for your surgery.

Anything you want- you are not suppose to eat- from midnight the night before the surgery- so you don't aspirate anything into your lungs- your pre- op papers should tell you when to not eat- D
