This is terrific. It is delicious on any green salad, but if the salad has chicken in it, it goes to a whole new level. You can also use it as a veggie dip.
This is supposed to be the same as Applebee's Oriental Chicken Salad dressing.
3 Tb. honey (warm in micro a little)
1 1/2 Tb white rice vinegar (can use just white, but not as good)
4 tsp mayo
1 Tb Grey Poupon Mustard (do not cheat and use any other kind)
1/8 tsp. sesame oil
Mix and let sit in fridge for a couple of hours to blend flavors.

CAESAR SALAD DRESSING
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Worcestershire
1 clove of garlic (minced)
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 c Parmesean cheese
1 tbsp of milk or half and half
Mix all ingredients together and shake or whisk until well blended.
RANCH SALAD DRESSING
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. Accent
1/8 tsp. pepper
Mix together and serve. Note: tastes like Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing. Dry onion flakes may be added if desired. I prefer the dressing without onions.
SUPER SALAD DRESSING
1/4 c. light mayonnaise
1/2 c. low-fat plain yogurt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dill weed
2 tsp. dry onion flakes
2 tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
Mix all ingredients together and chill.
This is a great "all purpose" sauce. Try it on baked potato instead of sour cream. It also makes a great raw vegetable dip.
Try different flavor vinegars for variety. If you want a thinner dressing add more vinegar - thicker less vinegar. If it's too sharp, add a pinch of sweetener.
Variation: To the mayonnaise and yogurt add 2 tablespoons ketchup, 2 tablespoons pickle juice and 2 small dill pickles diced fine - you now have Thousand Island.

I usually take cooked ham and cube it, 2-4 boiled eggs, diced 1 medium onion, diced 1 can of peas 1/2 cup of shredded swiss cheese rotini pasta salt, pepper I boil the pasta according to instructions, drain them, and pour them in a bowl. I throw the shredded cheese into the warm pasta and stir that to make sure the cheese coats the pasta evenly. I add the onion, finely diced, the diced eggs, and the diced ham,and a can of peas, season with salt and pepper and mix it all well. Then I add 1 tablespoon balsamic or herb vinegar and 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil and mix everything until coated with the vinegar+oil dressing. Usually I refrigerate this overnight.

Lemon vinaigrette: 1/3 cup olive oil, juice of 2-3 lemons depending on size, spoonful of garlic, big pinch of dried oregano, a little salt and fresh ground pepper.
Balsamic dressing, Caesar, and buttermilk basil are on epicurious.com. Which I love all those, but I always forget exact measurement so I have to always look them up.
