I like to spritz mine with water (nothing else besides water, though, it can make your hair look greasy). If worse comes to worse, soak your brush in a sink full of water if only even for a few minutes. This is guaranteed to get rid of static, but all you REALLY need to do is spritz it.

I had the same question. All i do is everytime I use it I wet it, then spray it with static remover. Then every month I rinse it and let it just stay there for about ten minutes. It really works!!

In the morning, rise it with cold water, get all that extra hair out, spay hairspay on, let dry, spray again and brush + style. Wash out after, and let dry bristles down overnight. It really works!

Add a little oil to your hair and brush though it, it also helps add shine to your hair.
