It's ok to shave them if you want to be doing it EVERY DAY afterwards. Shaving tends to make the hair grow back thicker and darker. I think that's the opposite of what you want, right? I'm sure your arms aren't that bad, especially if the hair is blond because that makes it less noticable. But if you are really concerned if I were you I would wax or get laser hair removal. Waxing will make the hair grow back thinner and it usually takes about 6 weeks for the hair to grow back. Hair removal creams like Nair are ok for some people, but make sure you do a test spot before using it on your whole arm because my sister used that stuff once and it brought blood up through the surface of her skin, it was really quite disturbing. Those creams use chemicals to melt the hair - it's pretty nasty. Anyway - trust me shaving would look much worse than the hair you have now. My friend used to shave her arms and the scratchy stubble she had at the end of the day was much nastier than normal hairy arms.

Get a Brazilian wax kit (Sally Hansen makes a good one) and wax your arms. It's really not that painful, and it's worth it to have smooth and hair-free arms. I know what you mean, it's ugly and embarrassing. But shaving truly will make the hair come back darker and coarser. Use wax. You will only have to wax once every 4 to 6 weeks. The kit costs like $10.00.

Look at Alyssa Milano from Charmed. She has hairy arms. They are dark hairs too. Kind of hard not to notice. My boyfriend pointed it out to me once. If she can live with her hairy arms (being that she is a well known actress.) then so can you. Don't shave them. Be happy as you are. It is the inner beauty that makes you beautiful on the outside.

They will most likely comeback darker and coarser. The hair on your arms is blonde and soft because it has been around for a while, the new hair is new and won't look right. If you are worried about it, look into laser therapy.

Atleast you have blonde body hair, better than black! Shaving is easy but it makes the hair come back worse, maybe waxing? Or if it really bothers you get laser hair removal, I'm planning on getting that sometime. :)

Nahh shaving would make them feel like stubble on a man's face.
If you can't handle leaving it alone, then Nair 'em, because the hairs do not grow back as harsh.

I wouldn't suggest shaving them - regrowth, itching, stubble - yuk!
Go tot he salon and get them to tell you about treatments. Depending on how serious a problem you think it is get quotes for laser hair removal through to waxing at a salon or home.

I wouldn't recommend shaving. Try a depilatory like Veet Mousse or Nair (or waxing if you can stand it). I use Veet Mousse, it's awesome.
