I have a crush on my bestfriend. I've known her since 6th (im a junior). She's aweome & I really like her. The hard part is that i don't want to ruin our friendship. I get so mad when ANY guy looks at her. I've heard rumors that she likes me.

There is good and bad sides of waiting or asking her out. My best guy friend and I just broke up after a short dating relationship, and we are still friends but its not the same. I think its cause we both still care for eachother but we aren't ready for a relationship. In time the pain will heal. However I knew him 7 years before we dated and it sucked, I hated seeing him and is past g/fs together. Either way there is a possiblity of pain, just go with your heart.

Hi there.

i understand that you don't want to ruin your friendship, if it's real love, the person shows respect most of all. They are also willing to go out of their way for you, not just once, but whenever it's needed. Since everyone is different, I would have to say that knowing true love comes from sensing it. if she likes you You will feel it in your heart.

Good luck.

Maybe you should just ask her about it... Even though it might be a little awkward at first, it's better to not keep secrets in any kind of relationship, whether it's a friendship or more than that.

why dont you take out as friend on a romantic movie?...and you will fill if there is something or not..but if not...then dont bother...just be the best ever person she can start dream of...help her..teach her new things..make her laugh..give her cute gifts..make her feel special.spend more time with her as friends...and sooner or later she will run into your arms..but be the best ever guy she can get...

Why don't you try and ask her out for a date? just see what she will say. Say something like, I wonder how it would be, on a date with you? If she says yes, then just be cool, do not come on too fast. Have fun, lots of laughter, and just be yourself!

ask her out and see what happens. if you've known her for that long, they she won't be able to pull "i don't know you very well."
but, like you said, when you break up, if you break up, you lose someone you love and a friend.
