something goes BAD in their life.?

I like to close the world off and silence my heart. If I can turn the TV off and listen to God in my heart in bad times, He always shows me the way to fix the situation.
We have to get past the "feeling bad" and rely on him to patch our wounds.

Depends on what bad is.
If Ive lost a job, I try to be patient and work on finding another one and I pray for Gods help to find the most right choice for myself.
If I find myself in the middle of a natural catastrophe, all I do is pray, and wait for it to pass by and then see what I can do.
I had a very horrfying car accident once, lost control on the interstate, my car flied by a bus and I managed to control it so it wouldnt fall off the side of the road into a tumble. I managed to stop in the middle lane after flying off from the left to the right most lane and my car stopped in a 180 degre position. God knows how hard I prayed during all that. If it wasnt for God, I would not have survived that one.

Yes, but you don't just pray when bad things happen. You pray to thank God for the good things in life too. There are always good things. We just have to look around. God wants us to come to Him when we feel all hope is lost, because that's when we pay attention the most.

Yes. And when something Good happens. And when really nothing spectacular is happening. In the Morning, in the Evening. I pray all the time.

praying so that "god" will take a time out from all the s***t that is going on in the world in order to fix some personal problems -- that's what most do. How stupid.

god is imaginary. Never ever has been proven prayer works. People have been praying for 2000 years or more. Look as the mess in the world.

yeah sure but its good to pray all the time. the bible says pray without stopping. now that doesn't mean pray out loud all the time but to always keep God in your mind all day and if you need help he is there for you.
