Well your not really supposed to however just a few years ago there was a women who was pregnant with one baby and then in her fifth month got pregnant with another baby. So she had two babies she was carrying that were five months apart in gestational age. Meaning she had to have ovulated at least once during pregnancy. This was all over the news when it happend and I remember her doctor saying this is a very rare thing to happen but still apparently it can. Plus we all know of at least one women who had periods during her pregnancy it the same thing. Just because things don't usually happen that way doesn't mean it can't.

Ovualtion is when a woman's ovaries release an egg. When the egg is fertilized, it implants in her uterus and thus begins to grow into a baby.....a.k.a she is pregnant. When a woman is pregnant, hormones in her body change. Because of the change in hormones, the ovaries stop ovulating. After the baby is born, hormone levels may take a few weeks to months to go back to normal, so it can take a while to ovulate even after the baby is born.

i no this sounds crazy, but its true you can still ovulate tell your a couple weeks, you could even carry twins from different partners or from the same, in two different sacks.it dose pause when you become pregnant but not for a couple weeks. i never believed it either. look it up.i knew some one who had a DNA test done for twins, and they were from different daddy's

I've heard of rare incidents where someone is pregnant and they get pregnant again while they are, weird carrying 2 babied when they are due at different times

No. If you are pregnant then your body does not ovulate, which is why you do not have periods when pregnant, although you can have regular bleeding.

ovulation is on pause when a woman is pregnant- hense no period for 9 months- in most cases.

No - when you're pregnant, you're hormonal balance is quite different than when you're not pregnant. You will not ovulate when you're pregnant.

my GYNECOLOGIST told me this, so its very accurate. pregnant women sometimes, rarely get a period, which means they ovulate, again, rarely.
