LOWFAT SMOOTHIE/SHAKE
Bananas or any other fruit
Skim milk
honey (optional for added sweetness)
Before hand, peel and freeze bananas in a plastic bag. When you are ready, put 8 oz. of slim Milk in a blender; Add Bananas (1 is enough for a smoothie, 2 for a shake); Blend until smooth; Pour into a cup and enjoy! You can use any type of fresh fruit: Strawberries, apples, or oranges, the possibilities are endless!
EASY STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIES WITH EQUAL
49% calorie reduction from traditional recipe.
1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1/4 cup fat-free milk
6 tablespoons Equal® Spoonful*
3 cups frozen unsweetened strawberries
1 cup ice cubes
Combine yogurt, milk and Equal in blender container. With blender running, add berries, a few at a time, through opening in lid. Blend until smooth.
Add ice cubes, one at a time, through opening in lid, blending until slushy. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings.
* May substitute 9 packets Equal® sweetener
NO-FAT & SUGAR FREE SMOOTHIE
2 cups ice
1 to 1-1/2 cups of non-fat milk
1/4 cup Splenda
1-2 tablespoons banana, orange, vanilla, or strawberry extract
In blender, combine milk and ice. Blend until a milkshake consistency is reached. Add Splenda and one or more of the flavorings or extracts of your choice. Process on high speed for 1 minute.
Makes about two 8 oz. glasses.

1/2 cup plain yogurt, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract, 1 cup lowfat or skim milk, 3-4 strawberries, 1 scoop (4 tablspns) instant cappuccino powder. Blend.

Yes . . .
1/2 froz. banana
1 cup papaya juice
handful froz. strawberries
handful froz. blueberries
handful fresh spinach. (no flavor picks up the flavor of the juice)
and l Tab. protein powder.
I got the recipe years ago at a health food store.

1 individual yogurt (about a cup's worth)...fat free of course
frozen or fresh fruit..a handful of berries or chopped fruit
a splash of orange juice
a whole bananna
ice cubes if you want...doesnt make that much difference
and blend the heck out of it
super yummy!!

handful of each:
blueberries
strawberries
raspberries
a cup of ice
protein powder (vanilla flavor is yummy)
splenda to taste
some water to thicken/dilute to preference
squeeze lemon
blend until desired consistency
