A mother is the giver and nurturer of life. Not quite the second rate occupation in which the women's libbers try to portray it.

I actually wrote a poem that is dedicated to the word "Mother."

Born into the world with eyes closed,
Not knowing the repercussions that would follow;
Just one of an infinite number of caretakers,
She would not be the last;
Continuing a pattern of love as if it were transfused
into her soul,
She would nurture a new breed fulfilled with more
knowledge than that of what she has learned;
Passed down like an ancient tradition,
Her wisdom would build a strong foundation for the future;
Wisdom, which ironically, would transcend from one
simple word...Mother.

I always liked the line in the movie "The Crow" where Brandon Lee tells Darla that "Mother is the word for GOD on the lips of all children". Said a lot I think.
