Wheatgrass can taste great but you need to get the stuff that is outdoor grown. Wheatgrass grown in indoor tray environments often has a problem with molds. If there is a mold issue, the juice can taste terrible and also produce side effects such as headaches, dizziness and nausea. Trust your taste buds. If you have trouble drinking it, it has a mold issue. Outdoor grown wheatgrass does not have mold issues. As a result, this juice tastes quite neutral and does not produce uncomfortable side-effects. The taste can best be described as similar to green tea on the palette with a mild aroma of a freshly mowed lawn. Most will find it unfamiliar, but not unpleasant. It is always an interesting discussion because both those that say it tastes good and bad are correct. It is all about the mold so find yourself a clean source.

Back in the 80's I used to buy it in a health food store in Toronto Canada, Noah's on Bloor near Spadina, it is an aquired taste, but I was a chef, and had drank parsley juice, saurkraut and celery juice alone and mixed.
It is a good source of chylorofil, iron and trace minerals, my advice is to add a dash of salt and a health dash of tabasco, this will take away the grassy taste, but once I found I got use to the taste, it went down better, enjoy, but sip don't gulp you first shot, it is not tequila.

It taste like what I imagine my front lawn might taste like.
It's supposed to be really good for your stomach and contains a lot of nutrients.
Just take it like a shot is the best way to drink it. You hardly taste it that way and still get all the benefits.

Energise for life website is very informative. I'm thinking of trying it. I find that raw beetroot improves the flavour of green juices (brocolli, spinach etc)
