You are on base so it should be fine. Note that your PS2 will not play Korean games without a mod chip. You can one put in in Yongsan. DVDs are also a different region and will not play on you PC DVD. And like ppl have said the power is 220v. Please have fun, enjoy beautiful Korea and don't be a stereotypical GI. Be sure to get off base, eat Korean food (don't skip the galbi and kimchi, talk to the ppl (and not only the girls) and drink some soju and makoli. If you have more questions email me. I will be happy to help.

Military takes care of you... ! Apart from that both will work with an adaptor (you don't need a converter, PSP and laptop are able to handle V110 and V220). NOTE: your US cell phone will not work at all!!! Korea uses 3G technology which we don't have in the US.

Once you get there, you might forget you have ps2 or laptop, at least for awhile.
Don't jump into shopping right away !!!!!
Take time to look around, for it's a chance to up grade all your electronics to up to date.
Hangout and enjoy your time there. Just keep in mind that it's also your chance to represent USA to people over there.

Only you need is power adapter. cuz Korea use 220v. as I know Americans use 110v. OH~ forgot! you will live in the military post. then you don't need to worry. cuz everything will be just same as in the US. even tree, road, bulidings, shops in the post... everything will be the same. as long as you don't live out of the post.
