Do girls say one thing and mean the exact opposite or something else, or just not mean what they said?

Why would a close female friend start to ignore you when she thinks that you started dating a girl?? Even though my behaviour continued to be the same towards her.

e.g. if a girl mate says they don't fancy you but their behaviour is the completle opposite. Would it mean that they are lying to you?

behaviour=meet regularly, txt each other practicly everyday, tell each other everything, she says that she don't fancy anyone/pulls anyone, gets jealous when I mention other girls etc

Trying to understand females!

Girls dont say the exact opposite of what they mean.. they try and change the subject with an answer that doesnt reply. Or else they are truthful.

A close female friend would prob. ignore you because she likes you alot, and to think of you with someone else makes her feel out of the picture. Show her you care.

A girl sometimes does not like you so much as being attracted to you. So if she acts as if she likes you, but clearly states she does not, it is not a done deal, flirting only. Or, however if she is shy around you and says she doesnt, then she prob. does.

She clearly likes you if she is telling you everything and the jealous part is a clear sign.

hope that helps!

It isn't that girls say one thing and mean the next,
its they say something but not the whole of what they want to say.
We or most girls expect guys to have some sort of sensitive side were we feel we dont need to give you the whole story because where expecting you to understand and realise the whole story for yourself, haha, it probably makes know sense but seems quite logical when we do do it.

Your friend seems as though she probably fancies you or misses your undivided attention that you might have previously given her.
Ask her whats wrong and how you two can make the situation better. But chances are she will say its all in your mind and nothings wrong, just be persistent and she will crack!
OR
Just be blunt and ask her if she fancies you
but
if you don't fancy her dont tell her that it will make her feel stupid and very uncomfortable with you, just say that your in a relationship at the moment which is why nothing can happen. that will keep her dignity and you will get the truth at the same time.

Sounds like she does care for you more than a friend or she might just be jealous of the attention you're taking away from her now that u have a poss love interest. Girls can be as confusing as guys. I don't think we'll ever truly understand each other, maybe catch on to a few things in life but never completely understand. Yes we can & do say 1 thing and mean another. It can be how a girl copes with something emotional. Good luck

This doesn't mean she fancies you, women are complicated. Sometimes we get insecure about losing close friendships, this could happen even if you all were the same sex. On the other hand she could very well have a thing for you. There is no straight answer. Talk to your mate and tell her she is important to you no matter what. Good luck.

mmmm, complicated. It's definitley the green eyed monster but is it cos she fancies you or she wants you to fancy her. Some girls just can't stand the thought that there closest boy mates don't fancy them. She might just be wary that you'll drop her for the other lady and she'll lose you as a mate. I would say though that just chat to her and ask her why she's acting like that. say it nicely cos then if she's just being selfish and doing the 'i don't want you but no one else can have you thing' then she might snap out of it. If she has something to say give her the opporutnity to get it off her chest.

Her ego is hurt; even though she doesn't fancy you she can't stand the fact that you've started noticing other girls. All women like to have the leading role in a man's life even if he is just a friend. You have every right to feel puzzled and confused. That's the way we are; always pretending and never straightforward. What can I say? Female nature!

Girls say one thing and mean another usually when they feel vulnerable. I think she fancies you but is scared that u wont feel the same therefore making her vulnerable. Try setting her up with a mate to get her off ur back if u dont like her! And if u do, tell her and put the poor girl out of her misery!

I need a bit more info but it sounds like she likes you but maybe not enough to be with you. Shes jealous simply because she doesnt want you as a lover but doesnt want anyone else to have you...shell loose all the attention...you should try it on with her and see what happens...if she responds, go for it but if not then tell her you need to see other girls and that youll still be good mates!

Hello!! this "close friend" obviously fancies you and is jealous of the fact that you might be dating other girls.....just ask her to tell you how she really feels about you....that way, you can get to the root of the problem and figure out what to do about it.....good luck

its a matterof low self esteem and insecurity which women are vulnerable to.every women wants to be wooed by a man so if a sister likes you she may not want to show it for fear that it will not be misinterpreted to mean that she is chasing after you. also subconsciously, every woman wants to be the center of attraction so when you start dating someone else, your girl friend may feel threatened that she may no longer receive your undivided attention.women are wonderful people, take time to study and understand those around you.
