I have 2 tattoos! I love them both! I never got sick or got an infection and i don't regret getting them at all! If gettin a tattoo you need to make sure of some things:
1. Look for the autoclave machine, this sterilizes through heat and pressure and steam! Every tattoo shop should have one or more of those!
2. Look for the biohazard container at every table area! This is where they dispose all neddles and other items that are used on other people!
3. Look for their licence! They shouldn't tattoo anyone unless they have a licence. Most places won't tattoo a minor at all, some will do it at 16 with your parents consent and they should be present!
4. Look for the Board of Health Certificate. This means that they took all the classes to keep a heads up on new techniquis of proper sterilization. They need to get it renewed every 2 years. Look at the dates if they are current you shold be ok!
5. always go to a place where you feel comfortable. No sense in getting a tattoo if you don't feel safe!

I am so sorry that you just misplaced your husband. I become aware of you do not desire to attend the 3 months to get the tattoo. Unfortunately I suppose this can be a horrible proposal to get a tattoo whilst you're pregnant. When you get a tattoo there may be regularly a risk you'll get an illness. Infection can motive headaches with being pregnant. It would even influence within the dying of you youngster. Now I recognise you do not desire to attend, however do you rather desire to lose the youngster? Yes it's feasible that not anything will pass flawed. Can you rather threat it even though. This is "his" final youngster.

Honey, there are worst case scenearios for everything you do in life. If you are going to get a tat. remember to make sure that the needle that they use is clean. That way the risk are cut down a ton.
But also think really hard before getting one. How will it look when your skin becomes all wrinkly and flabby?
Also, if you wait maybe 5-10 years there may be a tattoo that you can get that can be removed with a special kind of pulse. Developers are in the finals stages for it. You see, with this special kind of ink, once you decide you no longer want a tattoo, you can have it removed, pain-free.

I don't think for a lot of people that tattoos are a sign of insecurity, but rather a sign of who they are. Sure you are going to get old and they are going to change. I have a tattoo. I got it somewhere so I could show it off and easily hide it. And there is a meaning behind it. Not some random picture I thought was cute. As long as you think about it and find something that means something to you and can represent who you are, then go for it. Don't get a butterfly because everyone has one. Mine is an arrow for my stepfather. He was a hunter and I really looked up to him. He passed when I was 12 so I got an arrow representing my love and sorrow for him. these feelings will never go away just like my tattoo will never go away.
As far as complications, just as long as you carefuly follow the instructions of care and if you go to a licensed tattoo parolor, you should be fine.
I hope this helps.

A tattoo is a sense of belonging to or someone most of the time. Allot of people who get them are usually in the fast lane life where your image is auroa and a Tattoo puts you in the category, but if for some reason you turn religous and start attending Church part's and Picnics...watch how the congreagtion reacts when they see your large Tattoos in places where they find it offensive.
Regrets....that's a matter of whos who!
I ride a Harley and I have no tattoos because gettig one pout on me is like defying the body of Christ and that I can;t come to terms with so I refrain from such puntures.

The only "danger" is that you're gonna get stuck with the thing for a really long time and if you don't like the way it turns out, it can be costly to get it fixed. My friend has a tatoo on her lower back and it looks terrible now because she lost a lot of weight and now the color looks weird but you can have it retouched too. Your tatoo will grown with you skin and the only really serious thing you should look for is where you get it done. Make sure wherever you go, that they sterilize their needles. Hepatitis c can be transmitted through needles as well as other nasty diseases. Other than that, if you find something that you like and are sure you will always like, go for it!

I love my tattoo that I got about 7 years ago. I did put it in a place that wasn't likely to sag or get stretch marks though. Also put it where you can hide it if you wish. The only freaky stories I've heard about tat's are infections...make sure to follow the care instructions the tattoo artist gives you. And make sure you inspect their autoclave and other sterility procedures. If they won't show you go somewhere else. Beyond that....enjoy!

I have had tats for over 20 years, yes, the do change SOME. If they are well done by a professional artist and quality ink they don't get all fuzzy like old sailors tats, they retain their artistic integrity. They do however grow larger, shrink and change shapes as your body shifts!
I told my kids to wear a fake one for a year first, where ever you want your real one to go...if you still like it after the year is done..go for it!
Oh, the colours do tend to fade a bit over time, even with the best inks!

I think people regret tattoos, and it takes time and money to get them off. Maybe if like you want a tattoo on your arm, draw it on and see how you feel with it throughout the day. If you don't like it just wash it off, some people get tattoos on theirs arms and it can look weird if you go to like a wedding with a huge tattoo on and you can't cover it up.

i have 11 tats...i luv 'em all...not a regret for any of them. however, there can be problems...hepatitis, skin infections, etc...you have to wear sunscreen on them or they will fade, and getting re-inked isn't gonna be fun. they can hurt like hell, and feel like a harsh burn while healing. they're also expensive...start with an airbrush tattoo...if you like it, get inked. and yes, they can look trashy, depending upon what you get and where you get it. my friend's mom is 70 yrs old. she just got her first tat...a little tiny butterfly on her big toe...it's cute.
go to a shop that has a good reputation, and uses an autoclave for sterilization of their equipment...look around the shop, ask questions, observe someone getting tattooed. somebody, somewhere in your life will make negative comments...if you have "ego strength," you can handle the negativity.
