my calculator icon is usually on my desktop and now its gone. I did a search on my hard drive and there were no search results. why did it disappear and how do i bring it back

If you uninstallled it for whatever reason (or accidently) go to C Panel >> Add/Reove programs >> Add/Remove windows compoents >> axcceories >> calc and click next

If you are talking about the Windows calculator...If you click start then programs then accessories at the bottom of the list should be your calculator. If you right click on it you can send it to your desktop and drag it the toolbar

I lost my real calculator in my sofa and never saw it again. ( we gave the sofa away)

Try to find it in all programs >> accessories >> then calculator. If you find it there then you should probably just re create the sort cut.

If its not there then do a search but search the entire computer not just the hard drive.

If you still can't find it then someone has been messing with hidden files.

go to START then go to Help and Support and type "calculator", it will bring search results, just click the calculator link and ul have it

C:\WINDOWS\system32\calc.exe

This is where the calculator application usually is on a Windows PC.

go to start and the programmes then accessories then choose calculator
