It could be genetic, not necessarily from doing something wrong. My sister had it just like you. I had it mainly on my face.
You can still minimize its effect.
Take very warm baths instead of showers, because the very warm bath soaks the skind, melts away the greases, improves micro-circulation of the blood closer to the skin to keep it healthy,
plus you have the chance to soak in soapy water, it does a better job than just a quick shower.
Also, add some Epsom salt to the bath water, helps clean and soothe the skin, and kills germs and protozoa that would otherwise make acne worse.
Also, try to find the black "coal-tar" soap, it works better than any other kind of soap to kill acne germs, Also, any cleanser with Tea-Tree oil works wonders too, its a natural chemical from Australian tree, that kills germs and protozoa and microscopic parasites which make acne grow.
Also, its helpful to sweat, in a sauna, or from jogging, pumps out the contents of the pores so the germs don't have such a big meal of grease available to them.
Always use a fresh clean wash-cloth and towel, and put your used-once towel and wash-cloth in the laundry after each bath. Don't re-use it before laundering it.

DO NOT USE OLIVE OIL> It will clog your pores any one who would use any type of oil on acne would be uneducated.I had the same problem when i was younger so i will save you the trip to the dermatologist and tell you what worked for me. You should use PHISODERM body wash.It sells at wal-mart is a clear bottle with yellow writing on it.It is anti-bacterial so you should use a wash cloth and soap up real good 2x a day to get rid of all the dead skin you produce throughout the day. The dead skin and oil and bacteria clog your pores and cause acne.Do not pick them or pop them unless you see the white has come to a head then you should squeeze it with a tissue on your fingures to prevent it from getting infected from the germs on your hands. For your face i would sugest gettng pro-activ.A 45 dollar supply lasts nearly 4 months for me.If you have acne like this you need skin care to prevent them from coming back.Just using spot care does not work to prevent new pimples from coming. You also need to remember to moisturize your body well, with an oil free moisturizing lotion to prevent further pore clogging. Another extremely important thing to do to achieve clear skin is to be sure to drink a gallon of water a day,it helps.

I am not someone working for Jan Marini..but the reason I can't stop raving about this product is because it really works!
My acne problem wasn't so serious, but enough to be judged by people - problem skin.
I'm not those ladies who freaked out over small pimple problem okay..so when I say my acne is a "problem", I really meant "problematic". =P
I learnt about Jan Marini whilst in the quest to look for a solution to my problem 6months ago.
I took the risk to spend $$$ for just a 2 oz bottle Jan Marini Bioclear Lotion(serum-like).
You have the right not to believe me..cos I know it's too good to be true..by 2 days of usage(twice daily), my then-existing acnes started clearing up! Skin becomes soft..and by 3rd day, the acneSS seemed to be gone! *poof*
After one week, I stopped using it for like a week plus cos I was too busy to take care of my skin, yet, the results stays the same.. I'm now using it like once or twice a week(only at night), and I'm still retaining the positive results.
That's why I'm soo eager to share this info with acne(especially adult) acne suferrers like me..
Do check out the other of the Jan Marini range since you also have the problems on your back, arms and legs..
You might also want to cut cost to treat on those big areas by using the new T3 acne body wash?? I haven't personally tries it..tho..
Drink at least 2L of water a day try to use products which are oil-free.
And if for the acne on the body, it's good to exfoliates your body..but only do if they are those "dry ones", and don't do it too much for it will abbregrivate the conditions.
I really hope somehow or other, you will overcome this acne problem soon! =)

Sean Combs recommends Proactive, but I do not. Wash your face with soft soap twice a day for a month and see the results. If all fails, I recommend the prescription treatment, Accutane which works but has some terrible side effects you should beware of.

Its not what you put ON your body, it's what you put IN your body that causes acne. Cut down on sodas and orange juice. Eating less fatty/junk food will also help. Just eat alot of natural food like friuts and stuff along with washing your face from nasty oils at least 3 times a day.

Eating properly does help acne but pop and junk food DOES NOT cause it. Read any articles, its proven. Acne is caused by hormones in your body and your pores over producing oil. If your acne is that bad I would talk to your doctor about accutane. It does have some side effects but if you use it properly and see your doctor regularly you will be fine! Trust me try it it worked for me.. goodluck!

Go on a two week cleanse. Drink and eat only fresh fruits and vegetables juices and drink pure water. Drink herbal cleansing teas morning and night. Try yellow dock, nettles. Take Swiss Kris herbal laxative tabs at night to assist with cleansing. You have to clean out your system. Creams and lotions are not going to do the job.

AVOID CHEMICALS. GO TO AN INDIAN STORE AND BUY SOME OLIVE OIL AND SOME ORGANIC TURMERIC. APPLY OIL IN HUGE AMOUNTS TO AFFECTED AREAS, AND THEN MAKE A TURMERIC ND WATER PASTE APPLY TO THE AREAS WHICH IT IS NEEDED, AND WASH AFTER 2-3 MINUTES ! IT WORKS WONDERS! BECAUSE TURMERIC IS ANTISEPTIC, AND EVEN WORKS ON CUTS! RINSE WITH WATER! USE SOAP IF YOU WANT TO ! HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU!
